Self-care, ensuring a healthier and happier you.

Self-care – what does it mean and do you do it?

Many of us find it difficult to make some time for ourselves.  Time to relax, to put ourselves first or even just to think.  In these self-care sessions we will discuss why it is so important to make some time to put yourself first and discuss what you can do to look after your body, mind and spirit.

Self-careAfter we’ve talked things through together there will then be a common area for crafting and talking.  A quiet zone for contemplation or reading. On a sunny day there will also be seating in the garden.  In these spaces you will be able to decide how you would like to use the time.

If you already have a project, book or journal in progress then remember to bring it with you to expand your options.

This really will be a time to relax as well as to plan your own care going forward.  Burnout is becoming a greater risk to us all, whatever your age, gender or occupation.  The plan here is to stop you from getting to that stage or to bring you back from the edge.  Don’t let yourself become a casualty of stress, put some time aside now and help yourself to stay healthy and happy.
